About Me

I’ve been an educator and wellness practitioner for over 20 years. I began this journey when I was 16, leading summer camps. At 18 I was training youth workers and established a youth movement. I was the Welfare Officer of my University College, headed the Student Listening Support Service ‘Nightline’, and trained hundreds of student councillors.I’ve worked in various roles within the Education sector, from supporting students in mainstream schools, to joining a specialist team that supported young people with especially complex needs in the community.

5 years ago I founded ‘Educape’, delivering Psychological Fitness and Mindfulness-based workshops and training, for education staff.I trained at two of the UK’s leading Mindfulness institutions, the Sussex Mindfulness Centre (an NHS Foundation Trust) and the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. I deliver the ‘Gold Standard’ NHS-approved Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), aswell as ‘Mindfulness for Life’ and ‘Finding Peace in a Frantic World’.Training with ‘Youth Mindfulness’ through their ‘Kids Programme’ added further tools to teach mindfulness to young people.I’ve trained in Breathwork through courses conducted by Dan Brule, and have graduated from multiple weekend residential courses in Nonviolent Communication. I have also completed Shirzad Charmine’s PQ Coaching Programme.
